History and Development

Eurowest Inc. started its business with the construction and repair of vans in 1991. The company had only 3 employees and one hangar of 180 m2 at that time. Driven by the need to expand, the decision to invest to the new territory and construction hall and move to today's location was made in 1993.

An additional hall for producing the metal constructions was renovated three years after moving to the new location. A brand new hall with sandwich elements production equipment was built in 1998. The test and research company Eurosert Ltd. was

founded in addition to the existing enterprise to develop insulated products. The new company is equipped with new equipment of the latest standards and was at the time of foundation the first of its kind in Estonia as well as in all the Baltic States. Eurowest Inc. has more than 6500 m2 production space today and has additional territory available for further development.

The expansion of sales network in the Scandinavian countries supported remarkably the growth of production. Thanks to long-term investments in the production base, the cash flow doubled in 2000 and exceeded for the first time the 3,5 million Euros benchmark.

The sand syringe and painting shop for designing the products was built in 2001. An increase in the quality of the company's products, intensive development of marketing and the foundation of a test lab have been supporting the seizing of a remarkable market

share in Scandinavian and Baltic countries. The majority of the products are exported to Sweden and Finland (approximately 60% and 25% in 2001.) Additionally, our company owns half of the Latvian insulated vans and containers market. The enterprise started using the ISO quality control systems in 2001-2002. The company offered a job to more than 50 employees in the end of 2002. At same time, the cash flow per one employee exceeded more than 60 000 Euros.

Our company's main goals for the nearest future are investing intensively in product development, raising the quality of products, acquiring new production equipment, expanding the marketing system and approaching more specifically to the needs of each client. Through all planned investments, it is quite realistic to hold the market share in Sweden and Finland as well as expand sales in Norway, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia in the nearest years.
